PRODUCT ADVISOR

Under the new ownership and management, we are growing our team and has an immediate opening for a Product Advisor at Oakville Nissan.

The Product Advisor must be driven to meet sales goals, have excellent communication and organizational skills, a superb customer service track record and be able to work well with team members and other departments.

Responsibilities
Understands products and keep up to date with the automobile industry
Experience at negotiation and writing contracts
Listen to customers' needs and build rapport with a wide range of people
Enhance dealership reputation by providing exceptional customer service in person, telephone, email, and other methods of communication
Participate in new product training provided by the dealership and manufacturer
Ability to work in a close team environment
Qualifications
Previous  auto sales experience would be preferred.

310S TECHNICIAN

Oakville Nissan is immediately seeking a full time licensed 310S Technician to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs and maintenance with efficiency and accuracy, while being compliant with the dealership standards (including inspection, diagnosis and identifying customer concerns)
  • Working in partnership with the Service Advisors, communicate if additional work is needed or if repairs/work cannot be completed within the given time frame.
  • Certify all warranty repairs are completed as stated by the manufacturer and ensure sufficient documentation exists to support the warranty claim.
  • Communicate with the Parts Department to confirm availability of parts needed to complete repairs
  • Conduct road test on vehicles to ensure the quality of repair and ensure that vehicles remain clean for customers
  • Stay updated with technical skills and attend sponsored training courses.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Requirements and company policies and procedures (such as: use of safety equipment and clothing including use of safety glasses and footwear).
Qualifications:

  • Licensed Automotive Service Technician (310S)
  • Previous experience with Nissan and Infiniti vehicles an asset or other imports.
  • A valid Ontario Class G Drivers' License
  • Highly skilled technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Strong organizational and time management skills along with attention to detail.
  • Have own required hand tools

SERVICE ADVISOR

Oakville Nissan has an immediate opening for a full-time Service Advisor.

The successful candidate is an experienced professional who quickly builds rapport with customers and can successfully multi-task in a busy and dynamic Service department.

The successful candidate must be available to work during the regular work week and alternating Saturdays to support the needs of our customers. The role reports to our Director of Service.

Responsibilities:

The Service Advisor has a wide variety of responsibilities, including but not exclusive to:

• Greeting customers on the phone or in person 
• Scheduling appointments 
• Explaining the nature of repairs to customers, liaising between the technician and the customer 
• Providing repair recommendations to customers • Advising customers how to maintain their vehicle 
• Selling parts & labour 
• Providing an extraordinary experience for all Oakville Nissan customers 
• Utilizing Nissan Canada corporate programs when required • Providing updates and escalating issues, when required, to the Service Manager Skills and Attributes 
• An Advisor who interacts with customers in a kind, empathetic and professional manner 
• Ability to handle a high volume of customers/appointments without sacrificing accuracy • Ability to build rapport with customers 
• Detail oriented and highly organized 
• Team player who knowledge shares with peers and manager 
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Experience & Qualifications

 • Appointment booking experience in a dealership
• Previous experience working with CDK/PBS is an asset
• Previous Import experience is an asset.
• Valid Ontario Drivers License and a clean driving record
